About Black Diamond Ranch - Quarry Course
The stunning Quarry Course, the first at Black Diamond, is consistently recognized as one of America's greatest courses. The list of awards and accolades is impressive, but nothing compares to the experience of playing it. Beginning with the elevated tee shot on the 424-yard first hole, the front nine redefines golf in Florida. Experience dramatic elevation changes, classic bunkering, and fairways framed with thousands of beautiful live oaks, dogwoods, myrtles, and magnolias. The Quarry Course at Black Diamond is simply breathtaking. The 14th, 15th and 16th holes are carved over and around canyon walls and combine challenging shot making opportunities with awesome views. The 218-yd, par-3 17th hole drops down into the smaller quarry to a green guarded left and rear by 30-foot high limestone cliffs. With stunning hilltop views of up to 25 miles, the nine-hole Highlands Course which was completed in 1999, is a magnificent mix of lush rippling fairways, stands of oak and pine, pristine water features and mesmerizing natural beauty. Poised on the highest point at Black Diamond. The Highlands can be played in tandem with either nines of the Ranch Course.
