About Whirlwind Golf Club - Devil's Claw

Do not let the name fool you. Whirlwind Devil's Claw Golf Course is not treacherously difficult to navigate your way around. Though still a nice challenge for golfers of all skill levels, Devil's Claw has big greens with flat areas surrounding them, making it an enjoyable experience and good scoring opportunity. The only devil-like presence may be the one on your shoulder encouraging you to take the riskier route on the risk/reward holes available. Hole #8 is a prime example. The tee boxes on this Par 4 range from 242 to 317 yards to the green with the deeper portion of the fairway guarded by a large bunker that can make the hole far more difficult. It is a perfect compliment to its sister course, The Cattail.
