About True Blue Golf Plantation

True Blue Golf Plantation of Pawleys Island, just down the coast from Myrtle Beach, is consistently ranked one of the top golf courses in South Carolina and is a thing of beauty both in terms of its appearance and design, making it a popular choice among local and visiting golfers. Built atop a five-century old rice and indigo plantation, this lowcountry layout features pristine salt marshes and wetlands, along with maritime forests of live oaks and pines. The golf course itself was designed to harmonize with the natural terrain. True Blue uses the unique lowcountry landscape of twisted live oaks and towering pines, tidal creeks and salt marshes as the setting for this one-of-a-kind masterpiece. With tree-lined fairways, meticulously maintained greens made of TifEagle Bermuda and strategically placed water hazards and bunkers scattered throughout the course, golfers of all handicaps have a tough challenge on their hands, yet they return year after year for more. On property is a full service clubhouse with pro shop, restaurant/lounge, banquet/outing facilities plus a changing room with a shower. Practice facilities are comprehensive, and include a targeted grass range, short game area with sand bunker, plus putting green.
