About Bear Creek Golf Club
In 1980, the Bear Creek Golf Club in Hilton Head opened as an exclusive private club. It was world-renowned golf course architect Rees Jones' very first project, and Jones was called upon again in 2006 to renovate his original masterpiece. The result of his renovation is nothing short of amazing. The upscale championship layout weaves through the natural low country setting of tall pines and lagoons of Hilton Head Plantation and with wildlife abound, it boasts the prestigious Audubon certification. Golfers are challenged by strategically placed bunkers and winding doglegs that lead to magnificently maintained TifEagle greens, and unlike many modern courses, it was designed with walking in mind. Bear Creek is great for Hilton Head golf packages.
