About Highland Oaks Golf Course

Located in the southeast corner of Alabama, Highland Oaks offers three nine-hole championship courses a nine-hole Short Course. The Highlands/Magnolia combination was named by Golf Digest's "Places to Play" as one of the nation's Great Value courses. This 36-hole complex features some of the longest and most classically designed holes on the Trail and each nine has a different personality: The Highlands course is the core nine at Highland Oaks and is relatively open with several lakes in play on four of the nine holes, including a peninsula green. The Magnolia nine is well-named: specimen magnolia trees dot the higher ground, which is reached via a 1,000 foot long wooden bridge spanning a marsh. Marshwood has been made famous (or notorious) by its behemoth par-5 sixth, which stretches to 701 yards from the tips.

    Highland Oaks Golf Course Restrictions & Fees

    Robert Trent Jones Trail imposes a strict deposit and cancellation policy. These policies will supersede the policies of the Tour Operator. A deposit of $150 per person is due at booking for any Robert Trent Jones Trail packages. Any cancellations, full or partial, are 100% refundable if cancelled 31 days or more prior to arrival. Any cancellations within 30 days -16 days prior to arrival will forfeit $75 per golfer. Any cancellations within 15 days or less prior to arrival forfeit $100 per golfer. Full payment due by 30 days prior to arrival. Any hotel stay cancelled within 48 hours of arrival will forfeit the first night’s stay plus tax. Any golf cancellations made on the day of play will be issued a rain check. — 1/1/2020 - 12/31/2029
