About Verandah Golf Club
Verandah offers some of the finest golf you'll ever play. The quality of the two courses, Old Orange by Bobby Cupp or Whispering Oaks by Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II, make choosing between them a challenge in itself. The course at Old Orange escorts you along towering trees and waterways. This is golf in its most natural state. Nicklaus said the Whispering Oaks harmonizes with the natural attributes of the community. "There are elements, such as large, native oak trees, that we were able to keep intact and utilize in the look and strategy of how the course plays." Golfers will experience Whispering Oak's true personality in its greens. Unique to the course, one green has a bunker style inspired by the Road Hole at St. Andrews, and another, No. 15, is close to 6,000 square feet, yet only 3,000 of that is usable for pin placements. Father and son took significant aprons off the tops of the greens, leaving only the perched areas as usable. There are some fun challenges to the greens at Verandah.

Verandah Golf Club Restrictions & Fees
You must return carts by 7:00pm sharp. — 1/1/2017 - 12/31/2025
Strict dress code enforced. No denim, cargo shorts or tee shirts. Shirts tucked in and hats turned forward. Guests who do not comply will be asked to leave and there will not be any refund. No personal coolers allowed. — 10/1/2019 - 12/31/2025
