About Madison Green Country Club
With over 200 courses in Palm Beach County, architect John Sanford knew he would have to create something special to get attention. At the Madison Green Country Club he did just that, creating a unique course that combines many of the best features from local courses, with a few surprises all its own. One interesting aspect of the design is that not only does the course get longer as you move back in tees, but the shot angles also get increasingly challenging. Thus, accuracy counts for the more experienced player, but four sets of tees keep the game fun for all. Natural sand bunkers line the course and transition the bright green fairways with the natural vegetation of palmettos, grasses and pines. The subtle blending of several native grasses along the rolling dunes heighten the visual framing of each hole and provides a daunting challenge to those who stray too far from the fairways. Over a thousand palm trees line the course, as do over 100 bunkers and 42 acres of shimmering lakes. Madison Green was voted Golf Digest "Best Places To Play" and is listed in the Top 12 Courses in Florida by Livestrong.com.
