About Sewailo Golf Club
Sewailo Golf Club, located at Casino Del Sol in Tucson, Arizona, is an award-winning championship golf course designed by former PGA Tour professional Notah Begay III and golf architect Ty Butler. The course was created in partnership with the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and reflects the natural beauty of the surrounding Sonoran Desert landscape. The name “Sewailo,” meaning “land where flowers grow” in the Pascua Yaqui language, highlights the course’s distinctive environment, which features more than 30,000 native flowers, plants, and cacti integrated throughout the property. Blending rolling desert terrain with scenic lakes and streams, Sewailo offers a visually striking and memorable golf experience for players and visitors alike. The 18-hole, par-72 course stretches over 7,400 yards from the championship tees and includes five tee boxes on every hole, making it accessible to golfers of all skill levels. Known for its smooth fairways, undulating greens, and strategic water features, Sewailo provides both a challenging and enjoyable round of golf. The club also offers extensive practice facilities, including a driving range and areas for chipping and putting, along with amenities such as equipment rentals and a clubhouse restaurant. Widely recognized as one of the top golf experiences in Arizona, Sewailo Golf Club continues to attract both local golfers and visitors seeking a premier desert golf destination.
