First built in 1958 by famous architect Mark Mahannah, the golf course at Plantation Resort on Crystal River features a series of holes that are challenging yet rewarding. The resort is the perfect spot for those looking for the "undiscovered" Florida and features comfortable rooms with either one king bed or two double beds, many of which can be adjoined to accommodate larger groups or family vacations. Plantation Resort on Crystal River Restrictions & Fees
A Mandatory resort fee of $28 + tax per room per night will be added to your reservation upon booking and includes: Wifi -Parking -Driving range access -Outdoor heated pool and hot tub -Fitness center access -Card room and billiards table in clubhouse -Sand Volleyball, Tennis, Pickle ball, croquet, shuffleboard, outdoor giant chess and checkers pad, horseshoes and a variety of lawn games — 1/1/2024 - 12/31/2029
Plantation on Crystal River is undergoing a renovation and remodel. The resort will have a soft opening on January 1, 2026 with limited rooms, 18 holes on the golf course, and a temporary Pro Shop. There will be no food and beverage options onsite until early spring due to renovation. The main Pro Shop will also be remodeled and opening in the spring. Opening dates for the full resort and amenities are to be determined. — 10/14/2025 - 12/31/2026
