About SunRiver Golf Club
SunRiver Golf Club is a charming 18-hole, par 71 championship course nestled in the Virgin River Valley just off I 15 in southern St. George, Utah. Designed by William H. Neff, the course now stretches to roughly 6,700 yards with a slope of about 120, offering diverse play across six tee boxes. You'll experience broad, forgiving fairways framed by contrasting white sand bunkers and the region’s signature red-rock desert terrain. The front nine is relatively open and flat, while the back nine introduces three par 3s and three par 5s for added variety and challenge. Greens are well-conditioned bent grass—the only tees of their kind in southern Utah—ensuring consistent roll and smoothness. Beyond the course itself, SunRiver’s clubhouse and facilities contribute to a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Take a break in the on-site eatery—Guru’s Sports Bar & Grill—where you can enjoy casual bites and scenic patio views. The club also offers professional instruction, GPS-equipped carts, a driving range, chipping and putting areas, and a supportive pro team eager to help you improve. With its player-friendly layout and stunning backdrop of red cliffs and desert vistas, SunRiver makes for a memorable round in Greater Zion golf country.
