About Eagles Golf Club - Forest Course

If you haven't played The Eagles lately, this is the year to experience this top-notch, 36-hole golf facility located just 20 minutes from Tampa Airport. Renovations to The Forest course that were completed in 2012 have now nicely matured, creating one of the area's finest choices for this year's golf trip. The beautiful Champion Dwarf Bermuda greens rival any in the area. The Eagles is located just north of Tampa Bay Downs Race Trackand is surrounded by more than 30 lakes, ponds and canals. The Lakes course sports an abundance of water hazards, elevated greens and many fairway bunkers. Large oaks are scattered throughout the course. The Forest Course features the signature island-green sixth hole which rivals the famous 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass. The 2012 renovations to The Forest included new collars, reconstructed bunkers, new sand, new tee boxes, a new irrigation system, improved drainage and an overall course beautification plan. The investment has resulted in pristine overall conditions for the 2013-2014 season. The Eagles Golf Club features the amenities and ambiance of a private club, including a full-service bar and a restaurant with panoramic views of the course.
